Meister Travel Cat - Feature of the Month - June 2020

 

Our "ameowzing" feature of the Month for June comes from California. Please meet the phenomenal Meister the Travel Cat. There is nowhere this sweet fluffy boy won't go.

We interviewed his owner, and she had a great story to share:


"Can you tell us a bit about Meister?"


"Sure! 
Meister was born in Squaw Valley, CA
He was only Flame-point in a litter of Seal-points. He was “supposed” to be a girl, but that was until his first vet visit, when the doctor noticed his 'Cheeto' puffs.”

"That was a pretty fun share! Can you tell us his story of how he came into your life?"

"It was meant to be... I found Meister through a friend, and had never seen a cat like that before, so I was immediately drawn in... so I made the 3 hour trip to Squaw Valley. When I held him for the first time, he immediately rested his chin on my shoulder and hugged me back. That’s when I knew it was meant to be " 

"That's real love. To drive so far with a feeling in your heart testifies of the real love true cat lovers have. So, how did Meister become a Travel Cat???"

 "After bringing him home I quickly noticed his outgoing adventurous personality, which is what led me to leash train him and bring him with me everywhere. He’s been on many road trips, and the occasional Starbucks trip!
Although he is leash trained, he follows us on his own now when we go on walks. We learned this when one day he just started following along. Now it’s a daily routine." 

" He is quite the beautiful and sweet adventure cat. We are so happy the 2 of you have come together. Seems it was really meant to be. "
